Two days before ‘The Archies’ releases on Netflix, a grand premiere of the film was hosted by the makers of movie in Mumbai on Tuesday, December 5 at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The Archies film premiere was attended by several celebrities garnering a lot of attention on internet.

Amitabh Bachchan arrived with wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan and her husband Nikhil Nanda, daughter-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for his grandson Agastya Nanda.
Additionally, the premiere of Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies” film was attended by Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Rekha, Malaika Arora, Shanaya Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Janhvi Kapoor, Isabelle Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, Atlee, Shilpa Shetty, Saba Azad, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Ananya Panday.
At the premiere, Jaya Bachchan was seen gesturing the paparazzi not to shout at her while giving her cues as she posed with former actor Tina Ambani.
Jaya Bachchan looked really stylish at the premiere. She wore a white outfit called a kaftan kurta along with shiny diamond jewelry and had nicely brushed grey hair and had a matching scarf and handbag. When she took photos with Tina Ambani, who was wearing a black dress, Jaya asked the photographers not to shout. She used her hands to signal them to be quiet. Then, the photographers politely called her “ma’am” and asked her to pose for the pictures.

A video of Jaya Bachchan was shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram and it received a mixed response. While some didn’t approve her not-so-friendly relationship with the paparazzi, some also showed an understanding towards the 75-year-old actor-politician.
A fan reacted to the video, “Her: Don’t shout… immediately the photographer: maaammm .” Another commented, “That MHAMMMM.”

Jaya Bachchan then stood together with the Bachchan family for a group photo. There were husband Amitabh Bachchan, Daughter Shweta Bachchan, and her husband Nikhil Nanda, who are Agastya Nanda’s parents, along with Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda’s sister. Also there were Abhishek Bachchan’s family, his wife Aishwarya Rai, and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Additionally, one of Abhishek’s cousins was present too. Everyone was dressed in black clothes.
Agastya stars as the main character in The Archies, which is the Hindi version of the American comic book series with the same name.It will be releases on Netflix on December 7 .
