Plot Twist of Parking the Movie (A New Car)
The fear that something might happen to a new car, it might get scratched, it might get scrapped, it comes free with that thing. Even if the car gets scrapped after a year, it still won’t make any difference to the car. But the new car needs something.
But in case someone says that this is not an old car, the happiness that comes with a new car, the fear that comes with it, the extra care that lies somewhere beneath all these things. somewhere a very thin line.
Director Ramkumar Balakrishnan has made us a part of this story because the situation is very relatable, we see it everywhere, so by putting the characters in this situation, the characters have been completely connected with us.
By capturing the relatable situation, we were made a part of the story and after that the drama presented here is to a large extent filmy and there you will often get to see many such things which may happen in real life.

Ego-driven Escalation:
From passive-aggressive notes to late-night tyre slashings, their feud snowballs faster than a toddler with a snowball launcher. Director Ramkumar Balakrishnan doesn’t hold back, weaving a gripping narrative that’s part psychological thriller, part domestic drama. The tension thickens like gravy on grandma’s mashed potatoes, and you’ll find yourself at the edge of your seat, hoping someone remembers to pay the parking meter before this whole thing explodes.
Stellar Performances Fuel the Fire
MS Bhaskar is a revelation as Ilamparuthi. He goes from grumpy grandpa to vengeful villain with such effortless brilliance, you’ll want to check under your mattress for hidden wrenches after watching him. Harish Kalyan holds his own as the hot-headed Eshwar, and the ladies – Indhuja and Rama – bring nuance and emotional depth to their roles. It’s like watching a Shakespearean play unfold in your apartment building’s parking lot, only with more car honks and less iambic pentameter.

MS Bhaskar as Ilamparuthi
A Few Bumps in the Road
While the film keeps you hooked till the credits roll, the relentless ego war can get a tad exhausting towards the end. It’s like a delicious plate of biryani – flavorful, complex, but maybe just a bit too much if you’re not a spice aficionado. Still, it’s a minor blip in an otherwise excellent movie.

Final Verdict
“Parking” is a riveting watch that exposes the dark side of human nature, all wrapped up in a shiny car-sized package. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the biggest battles are fought not on battlefields, but in the concrete jungles we call home. So, grab your popcorn, find a comfy spot (preferably not someone else’s parking space), and get ready for a ride that’ll leave you both entertained and slightly paranoid about your friendly neighborhood grumpy guy.
If you want to watch some good drama, clean drama, which has drama, relatable factor, add the same time, a little tension, a little thrill, then you can definitely watch this film once, then this was my favorite.
P.S. Don’t forget to lock your car doors – just in case!
