Two days before ‘The Archies‘ releases on Netflix, a grand premiere of the film was hosted by the makers of movie in Mumbai on Tuesday, December 5 at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The Archies film premiere was attended by several celebrities garnering a lot of attention on internet.
Who came to the premiere?
Bollywood Superstar Badshah Shahrukh Khan arrived with wife Gauri Khan, sons Aryan Khan, AbRam, and his mother-in-law Savita Chhibber, to cheer for daughter Suhana Khan.
Amitabh Bachchan arrived with wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan and her husband Nikhil Nanda, daughter-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for his grandson Agastya Nanda.
Additionally, the premiere of Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies” film was attended by Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Rekha, Malaika Arora, Shanaya Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Janhvi Kapoor, Isabelle Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, Atlee, Shilpa Shetty, Saba Azad, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Ananya Panday.

Karan Johar recently shared his thoughts about ”The Archies” after watching the film on Tuesday. Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker expressed his views, mentioning, “#thearchies has been watched!!! A town of Anglo Indians called RIVERDALE! The year is 1964…And right from the start of the movie, you’re drawn into @zoieakhtar’s world. Her excellent work ensures you’re captivated! The set design, camera work, dance sequences, and costumes are amazing with their precise details and beautiful appearance! Zoya and Reema not only talk about friendship and the challenges of young love, but they also touch upon the emotions a teenager might experience while dealing with their sexuality and fear of judgment (keep an eye out for this delicate moment – it’s my favorite scene in the film)
